Why consolidating saves you money
International couriers charge for each shipment based on its chargeable weight, and every shipment carries fixed costs. Sending three small parcels separately is always more expensive than sending one box with everything inside. That is why consolidation is the best way to reduce shipping cost overseas.
Select two or more parcels stored at your LocalHub and request consolidation. Your LocalHub repacks everything into a single box, removes unnecessary packaging and reports the new weight and dimensions. A consolidated package is still a package: if another purchase arrives later, you can consolidate again.
Storage days of each original parcel are kept and added transparently, and optional boxes or pallets are only used when needed (see materials). Compare the result with the shipping calculator.

How much can I save by consolidating?
Up to 70% compared with shipping each parcel separately, depending on weights, sizes and destination. Check both options in the calculator.
Can I consolidate a package that is already consolidated?
Yes. While it is still in storage, you can combine it with new parcels and consolidate again into a single box.
Are there parcels that cannot be consolidated?
Parcels that exceed the size or weight limits cannot be combined; your dashboard marks them so you know before requesting.
How is storage calculated after consolidating?
We add the days each parcel spent in storage before consolidation and, from then on, count the consolidated package only once. Your plan free days are deducted.
