Amazon's fulfilment programme (FBA) lets you store, pick, pack and ship through Amazon. Selling on Amazon.es means your inventory has to reach a fulfilment centre in Spain. Here is the typical flow.
1. Create your shipping plan
In Seller Central, create the inbound plan for your products. Amazon tells you which fulfilment centre will receive each shipment and how many units go in each box.
2. Prepare and label your units
Every unit needs the correct product label, usually the FNSKU, and some categories require specific packaging or polybags. Always check Amazon's current preparation requirements for your category before you ship.
3. Pack the boxes
- Use sturdy boxes and fill empty space.
- Respect Amazon's limits on box weight and size.
- Attach the shipping label that Amazon generates to each box.
4. Choose your carrier
You can use an Amazon partnered carrier or arrange your own transport. Compare prices and delivery dates in the shipping calculator and make sure the carrier supports delivery to the fulfilment centre.
5. Consolidate supplier shipments
If your suppliers ship to you in several parcels, bring them to one place first. Using package consolidation you can gather everything, check it and send fewer boxes to Amazon.
6. Mind customs and VAT
If the goods come from outside the EU, import duties and VAT apply and you need correct paperwork. Read our page on customs documents and consult a tax adviser about your VAT obligations in Spain.
